I have to dispute that the Democratic Party is the party of neo-liberalism. The African-American community is only where they are today because of Lyndon Johnson first, and the Democratic Party second. I've been a declared Democrat since 1960 (JFK and in seventh grade). Yes, we have our neo-liberals, but we've never turned away from our responsibility to the weak and dispossessed.
