Love this. My favorite part of the Met are the old master galleries and I am selfishly glad that they are so quiet sometimes. My least favorite part of the Met is the costume institute since it makes the museum so much busier.
I was born and raised in Chicago and went to the Art Institute of Chicago many times to learn a bit about art and then, as an adult, I worked them as secretary to the Faculty. I SO enjoyed my lunch hour which I could spent wandering around the 100s of rooms filled with magnifcent art..
