May you heal quickly. For years I've repeated the mantra "Do Not FALL!" and every year or so despite all my caution I slip on ice in a parking lot or at my mailbox on my rural road, and so far have emerged unscathed joking about my non-medical bone density tests. And then I renew my caution and stay present to what's right in front of my feet. I'm going on 81, and knock on wood, I haven't fallen for well over a year. Thank you for the reminder to stay present.

I am sorry to welcome you to the"falling down" club, Jessica, along with Nancy Pelosi. I used to wonder why all the older people were taking spills, and now I know. Rest quietly - it will do you good! I am around, trying to recover from my own spell of "resting quietly" this summer! See you this afternoon!

I hear you.

I now make every photography from eye-level. No more bending down, kneeling, lying on my stomach to get the shot.

The pictures are still good, but all from the same vantage at which I now see the world.

Here's to a speedy (and full) recovery!
